Java and mobiles

We all know how popular a programming language Java is. Originally started as Project Oak by James Gosling with a view to set up a virtual machine with a language based on C++, mobiles, you can run a large number of games and applications using Java. You can get direction maps on your mobile, use a dictionary or even play soccer or basketball on it. Like with computers, the number of things that can be done on your cell phone will only get larger and better.
